CDT History
​
CDT was founded in 1985, by Director Tina Travers, to provide performance opportunities for its youth members and to enrich, expand and enhance the cultural awareness of dance in the community. Providing family affordable programs that are entertaining and of artistic excellence helps to spread the word about the entertaining art of dance.

Over the years, CDT has grown from what started out as a handful of talented members to a company of over 35 performers with a skilled costuming/prop crew, guest artists and volunteers. Through this growth the heart of CDT has remained committed to sharing the love and joy of dance with its audiences.

After many years with various choreographers, CDT has been blessed to have Anya Ivanova-Bojko who has guided our company since 2009 with challenging and innovative choreography, dramatic yet elegant storytelling, captivating special effects, and compelling musical scores.
